I have tried and tried to listen to this album. I have never been a fan of Grohl's style. To me, he has no nuances to his playing. He just seems to be all arm-swinging and bashing. So, it's hard for me to get past the bashing style of drums. Don't get me wrong. I love what he does in Foo Fighters. His drumming just doesn't move me and if the drumming doesn't move me, it's kinda hard for the rest of it to sway me. Then again, that's just me.
